Climate:
The province of Santa Fe has two main regions, the Pampas and the Chaco. The Pampas region runs along the Salado Norte River and features a mild climate and a fertile prairie grassland. The Chaco region is in the northern part of the province. It is a wooded tropical plain. The majority of the province has a Meditrranean type climate. In summer it the weather is hot and humid. The average annual temperature ranges between 17º and 21ºCelsius.

WHAT TO PACK
It is a good idea to take along light clothing for the daytime and some jackets and sweaters for mornings and evenings.
The time of year of your visit should be considered, especially if you are coming in spring or summer, in which case you should wear comfortable shoes, summer clothing a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses, taking along sunscreen, insect repellent and a camera, and making sure you avoid taking sun around midday.
